The Memorial School Instrumental Music Program has been recognized to be one of the best programs in the Northeast District of our state. With the many concerts that have been performed at the school, many parents and townspeople have been impressed and supportive of this Instrumental Music Program. Each year, the Senior Citizens have had the opportunity to listen to the Memorial School Jazz Band while attending the annual Senior Citizen's Day held at the school.
In the fourth grade, all students have had the opportunity to begin to play a musical instrument, and perform in the Beginning Band. Each year fifth and sixth graders perform in the Advanced Band. Memorial School is also very fortunate to have a Jazz Band made up of a select group of fifth and sixth graders. There are only two of these unique groups in the Northeast district of our state.
