Podcasting is an emerging technology trend that uses simple equipment to make audio recordings that can be burned to CD, posted to the web, or downloaded onto an mp3 player. We find that podcasting helps improve student fluency, build confidence, motivate quality work, and develop a real-world audience for student work.
Podcasting at Memorial
From now to the end of the year, students throughout the school will be taking part in a podcasting program designed to help them develop their writing skills. Students will explore subject areas and interests through collaboration between their classroom, art, music, library and technology. They will share their writing with a real audience in the form of a Podcast.
